My name is Kelly Janae (juh-nay). I am eccentric, eclectic, and — more often than not —in a state of existential crisis. Why, you may ask? Well, the world is bonkers, to say the least. Entire societies are controlled by evil politicians, religious leaders, and CEOs; the less-than-one-percenters. There are a staggering 7.6 billion homo sapien on this planet, with the population projected to increase by over 2 billion in just thirty freakin’ years.
Our Earth — She Who Gives us Life and is the Greatest Gift of Existence — is being destroyed more each day, and fighting back with a vengeance. People are force-fed propaganda about sex, drugs, and violence, falling ever-so-deep into the rabbit-hole of fear-mongering, learning through mere brainwashing to hate their fellow human, and themselves, for absolutely no reason at all. In short, humankind has made quite a mess of this Earth. Reflecting on this unfortunate reality — in addition to the questions behind consciousness, life itself, and the like — can bring on a very strong sense of oh my god what is going on in the world and with myself I am so confused and not sure why I exist in the first place please help me etc.
Fortunately for myself and others, I am an optimist. I believe that the absolute madness of our current political, social and environmental climate is an ironic blessing; a breaking-open of the corruption and control which keeps us from doing right for ourselves and the world, allowing us the clarity and space to do something about it.
I believe, simply, that changing the world is a mindset, a perspective, a lifestyle.
Change requires us to take responsibility for the actions of our ancestors, the state of our bodies and minds, and the future of our planet.
Change does not ripple from the top-down, but rather bubbles up from the hearts of all the courageous individuals willing to look deeply at their values, beliefs, and actions; with the intention of improving their Selves, such that they may better survive in this world, and serve as positive influences for their fellow Earthlings.
Changing the world has been my ultimate commitment since I could spell the word Hypocrisy. I am a Biological and Agricultural Engineer a Nature-Connected Life Coach, and a Spiritual Healing Practitioner by education, and a Creative Professional by entrepreneurship. Through hardships with mental health, and a general curiosity for all things self-improvement, I am continually learning amazing tactics for re-creating myself, over, and over, and over again. So magical are these insights that I find great joy in sharing them with all who are willing to listen and put in the effort. Through poetry, articles, journal entries, thought pieces, photography, art, recordings, podcasts, and videos, I provide content covering all things personal work, spirituality, emotional turmoil, psychology, education, comedic relief, and general creative expression. I also offer Nature-Connected Coaching and Ecotherapy services where I guide clients to their inner wisdom and potential through developing a deeper awareness of and relationship with nature.
The potential for change is within each of us, and far more powerful than most recognize. Ethereal Ecology — named for the self-proclaimed science and philosophy of understanding and utilizing connectedness for our personal and communal growth — is the platform through which I hope to provide others with perspectives, tools, support and inspiration for finding patterns in this tangled mess called Life.
