Maybe you’re an outsider

So maybe you’re an outsider.
Maybe you don’t believe in a Christian god.
Maybe you believe in something completely different,
or nothing at all.
Maybe you aren’t the best at anything.
Maybe you think you’re the worst.
Maybe you think differently than your parents or peers.
Maybe this makes it difficult for you to speak up, or be heard.
Maybe you feel lonely, because it’s hard to feel comfortable or safe around most human beings.
Maybe you try your best to be of service, but it never feels like it’s good enough, because no matter what, there’s something deeply wrong with the world you’re living in, and it’s way too big for you to handle.
Maybe this causes you to be chronically depressed, anxious, or suicidal.

Maybe, just maybe
You’re suffering the most beautiful curse:
Integrity.
Authenticity.
Conscience.

The curse of knowing Truth from within, without needing anyone to force-feed it to you.
The curse of being an individual, no matter what, because there is nothing and no one else you possibly can be.
The curse of having a huge, compassionate heart
In a society that mercilessly lies, steals, kills, oppresses, dismisses, neglects, and shames.

Maybe, just maybe
There is nothing wrong with you.
Maybe you’re living among a sick and twisted humanity
That believes in its own distortions
And lacks the self awareness
To take responsibility for itself.

Maybe, just maybe
Your role is not to fit into that mess.
Maybe your role is to be different; to be natural and free.
Maybe you were born how you are, with the will to be sovereign
So that you can’t get caught in the web of conformity.

Maybe your individuality, and your temporary loneliness, is a form of Divine protection
To ensure that you complete the most important mission on Earth:
Being Yourself.
