Your Emotional Pain is a Gift in Disguise

Suffering from mental and emotional health challenges can seriously suck. When we struggle to feel confident in ourselves, to trust life, or to see the good in anything, our outlook becomes negative, and life becomes even more difficult. We hold the heavy burden of depression and repressed rage everywhere we go; trudging through our responsibilities, while trying our hardest to avoid those inner voices that say “this is total bullshit and I’d rather not exist.”

Life would probably not be worth living if it really was the punitive, disappointing, depressing reality that many of us perceive. But I have really, really relieving news:

Your pain is a gift; not a punishment.

Emotional pain is a part of life; but Life doesn’t create inner turmoil for the sake of vindication or punishment. Life gives us pain so we are forced to go deeper within ourself, and clear the way for our true self to shine. Only then can we reveal our full potential, and create the happiness that we deserve.

I never would be the person I am today if I wasn’t faced with the excruciating emotional pain that caused me to stop, slow down, reassess my life, and chart a completely new path for my reality.

⭐ Suicidal ideation guided me into my most intimate, vulnerable emotions, so I could process and release them.

⭐ Emotional imbalances caused me to adopt a daily yoga practice that stabilizes and strengthens my body and nervous system.

⭐ Mental health challenges and my racing mind motivated me to adopt a daily meditation practice, which skyrocketed my spiritual path.

⭐ Physical/emotional/mental discomfort guided me to discover energy healing, which is the main modality I use with myself and clients to achieve a state of balance and inner peace.

The list of gifts goes on. My pain has been an incredible blessing. Engaging with my pain opened up my spiritual path, improved my health and relationships, and made my life worth living.

Have hope. The same must be true for you, too.
