Chiron is a planetoid located between Saturn and Uranus who is associated with the Wounded Healer archetype. This planetary body can be consciously worked with to unlock the secret gifts behind our deepest wounds. In this video, I describe some significations of Chiron as learned from the book “Chiron and the Healing Journey” by Melanie Reinhart. I also dive into a personal example of how working with Chiron has unfolded for me, with specific attention on a quincunx between my Aquarius/10th house Sun and Virgo/5th house Chiron.
Through this process, I’ve discovered that the birth chart is a powerful tool for Parts Work or Internal Family Systems therapy. Ultimately, this process has also guided me into a deeper knowing of my Self (and the horoscope) as a unified whole. I am encouraged to develop more harmonious internal relationships with all parts of myself such that I can attain a more equanimous, self-loving, “both/and” state in the outer world.
