Elemental

Glowing hot in your radiant fire
You ignite me
And I invite it

Flowing on waves of effervescent waters
You crash over me
And I acquiesce to your current

Feet grounded in the soils of acceptance
You appreciate me
And I cannot thank you enough

Sending melodic messages on the air of your breath
You serenade me
And I melt

Those four elements I admire
For being so present in your soul
(Fourth impressions never looked so good…)

Perhaps from the fifth I will feel the brightness of your sun on my skin
And, should we choose to meet again, the sixth may lend clues as to the contours of your moon
Which leaves lucky seven
The Great Mystery
Within which the unexplored brings promises of creation

So patient I will be
As the elements carry me
Freely
Into the beauty of our Unknown
